First Hotpot Restaurant in Singapore to serve food on conveyor belt - UPOT.
Today was our 2nd attempt queuing at Upot, we went around 2pm and we were glad there was no queue. Apparently this is a popular Taiwanese hotpot chain which has opened its first overseas outlet at SingPost Centre, the first hotpot restaurant in Singapore to serve food on a conveyor belt.

Each person has to indicate their choice of individual soup bases.
There are 6 types of soup to choose from and we chose the Taiwanese Herbal Pork Rib, Thai Tom Yum and Wild Mushroom soups. Out of the 3, we preferred the Taiwanese Herbal Pork Rib the most, as the other 2 seemed to lack in flavour.
Do note, there is free flow ice green tea and water (self-service).

Have counted the ingredients on the ingredient list- total 59.
Do note the ingredients are priced based on the color plates (green, orange, blue, red).
Prices as follow:
Green - $0.99
Orange - $1.99
Blue - $2.99
Red - $3.99
They did not have the seafood on the conveyor belt, we had to ask from the staff to bring it to us.
We noticed the varieties on the conveyor belt were quite few and they seemed a bit of understaffed as well. We had to search for the soup jugs to refill the soups ourselves. The staff noticed later and he quickly came to apologize.

Seating arrangement around the conveyor belt.

When it is time to call for bill, the staff will carry their scanner/mobile pad and scan the colored plates from top to bottom.
(This stack of plates was from ladies beside me).

This is our count after scanning. ;)
This price shown is just for the ingredient and is excluding the soup and chili sauce ($2 each).
The Taiwanese Herbal Pork Rib soup costs $8.80 and both Thai Tom Yum and Wild Mushroom soups cost $7.80 each.

The black round chip below the plate sends the reading to the scanner.

When we left the restaurant, we noticed the tray with watermelon slices and water outside the restaurant unattended.
It would be good if they could keep the varieties of ingredients consistently more visible on the belt or perhaps increase the number of staff. The quality of food is acceptable but there is room for improvements. :) But, we like their concepts of having food on conveyor belt and the scanner.
