dal.komm Coffee - South Korea Popular Coffee Chain
I happened to chance upon the newly opened dal.komm coffee at Marina Square. I am so glad that there is a branch at Marina Square now as I seldom go to Centrepoint (been to the dalkomm at Centrepoint only once). I ordered the rose latte then and it tasted good.
There are 2 seating areas - 1 within the shop premise and there is 1 outside (see picture above).
Within the shop premise, the warm lighting and hanging light bulbs decoration provide a conducive environment for chit chatting and coffee drinking.
Besides the huge varieties of coffee/non-caffeine drinks, there is also quite a variety of cakes.
Note: dal.komm does not provide free flow of water. Mineral water need to be purchased.
I ordered the iced Sweet Potato Latte ($7.50) and it tasted pretty much like sweet potato itself. It tasted grainy which seems to be the puree of sweet potato.
The Paddlepop Cheesecake ($8.50) not only looks good but tasted really good as well.
My friend ordered the cream kiss vanilla ($8.50) and the Honey Earl Grey cake ($8.50).
Unfortunately, the Honey Earl Grey cake did not have much earl grey taste and we did not really appreciate the nutty and grainy texture of the cake.
I also ordered the iced Honey Grapefruit ($8.90) and this is LOVE \**/. It tasted so refreshing and good. The chunks of grapefruit are placed nicely, which reminds you that this is not only a yummy drink, but a healthy one as well. Mini fork was provided for ease of eating the grapefruit. YUMMY!
